Yea, that probably disqualifies him as a dark horse, but I'd be pretty damn surprised if he won this weekend.

Pulling for him. He played some great golf last year at the US Open.

Now that's a dark horse. However, most people pick players that are actually playing in the event.

Hey Dick. I've seen up to 35-1 odds on Kucher.

My best ball team is:

Keegan Bradley
Ricky Fowler
Justin Rose
Bo Van Pelt

anyone care to tell me what they think about it?

Where can I get those? The 10th ranked player in the world 35-1? Please link me to that.

Is that for the espn majors challenge? I like that team. It's kind of a crapshoot game, but you have some guys that will probably make a bunch of birdies, and maybe an eagle or two. I took Tiger, Rose, Van Pelt, and Toms.

Currently 30-1 on sportsbook.ag. You can get at least 25-1 at most shops.

yeah the espn thing. well my buddy and I split 2 teams for action and we have tiger in the other one.

I really like ryan Moore, surprisingly he has done really well in the masters.

Van Pelt has too

and yeah its a crapshoot to an extent for sure

ETA:

I love toms normally but this course is long for him. this is a shite ton of pars for toms type tournament. he has a great putter but for a best ball hes not a top choice IMO

Admittedly, I know nothing about golf betting. So, I just googled odds to win masters, and Vegas insider came up. There are 10 players in the field with better odds than Kuchar. He's not a dark horse.

Yea, I was down to my last pick, and he stood out the best to me. I agree that he isn't likely to make a lot of birdies, but he is likely to play all 4 rounds. Maybe I'll look over it again.

Say what you want but if I can bet $100 to win $3,000 that's a dark horse. Just my opinion.

Haas, Henley are the best true "dark horse" picks in this thread so far.

As for a name i didnt see yet...Ryan Moore is a great longshot pick. Always liked this guy. Think i saw him in the
250-1 ballpark
ETA: Damnit Tebow...beat me to it

I'd definitely still call Padraig a dark horse. He has fallen off the map the last few years. Just as I'd consider two time Masters Champion Jose Maria Olazabal a dark horse.
