Ain't too many other bigs I'd rather have taking a jump shot to win the game than DW

you are a hornets fan, i wouldn't expect much else.

But using strictly a % is only part of a story.

for some players, such as bryant who take a lot of contested jump shots, I agree. west shoots tons of wide open jumpers.

He's had numerous career clutch shots.

Where's the stat for the contested shots now? I forget that teams leave a All star PF open for his bread and butter shot.

see the link. I don't watch every team play every night, that's what stats are for.

10 or so. Dirk is easily the best jump shooting big in the game.

according to this NBA trade machine
the hornets could send west and peja and get amare, barbosa and tucker from the suns

not like it would ever happen but is this machine just calc the salaries?

im not reading this whole thread full of stupidity, so someone might very well have mentioned it, BUT...what the frick are we going to do with first round picks???

Byron Scott has shown that he has NO ABILITY to coach young guys. they would just end up sitting on the end of the bench watching the seasons go by. so this trade is really DWest for T2 straight up. which would be about the dumbest trade the hornets could possibly make. lets get even softer inside, while we lose a bunch of scoring, and our only real consistant rebounder, who played the entire season hurt, and what do we get in return? someone who can jump high. you guys always come up with some of the dumbest ideads ive ever seen

I say get rid of Scott first, whoever they get, if he has to play for Scott his game will suffer.
