Well yeah. Curt is the best flat out coach in college football and Day is a spoiled brat that only knows how to win when he has every single advantage handed to him. Urban handed him the keys, Day has earned nothing. Shades of Marcus Freeman honestly

Eh not really because that’s been the story of this team most of the season. Brief periods of red zone struggles.
And we’ve been playing at that same pace all season. They are purposely doing that to limit the wear and tear on bodies over the longer season. I think we’ve essentially played 1 game less than most playoff teams based on snap counts.

Not sure if I buy this. How is Day supposed to coach his way out of two red zone trips that end with a chip shot missed FG and an overturned first down? Ohio State was in prime position to be up a score or two....and guys whiffed on standard make-able plays.

TBF, LSU was Alabama’s like third rival at best back then and they did win the rematch.
Only two “national champions” have ever had two losses and the other 2 loss team that won wasn’t even the best team in their conference either. 2007 was such a weird season.
