They should be selling. Gray, helsley, Arenado, fedde, etc Get value while playing decent ball, regression of pitching staff and oen is coming. Go into deadline with leverage, not begging people to take ur players. And teams are desperate for starters, people would pay a nice price for Sonny to be their #2
Seems like they never do. I mean, Arenado is impossible to move. They tried. But they could have sold last year and didn’t. And there’s not much coming out of the farm system so you’d think they’d be eager. I’ve been wondering exactly what the cardinals plan is for a few years now. Doesn’t seem like they have one. It’s weird

I think they’re firmly World Series contenders with a pitching move
100% but that’s a big if. There’s plenty of talent in the farm to use. Some of the bigger ones are underperforming so far tho. They’ll have decisions to make cause the kid most will want is the back up plan if Tucker doesn’t resign

They have to get a front line starter, a 1984 Sutcliffe like move....Sutt wasn't exactly tearing it up in Cleveland when the Cubs traded for him, but the change of scenery made a huge difference, I think there's something like that out there.
I'd also love to get another high leverage reliever that can close if necessary - I love the upside of both Palencia and Hodge but the sample size is too small and the experience too lacking for me to fully trust either down the stretch and in October.

These type of posts speaking highly of your favorite MLB team is so much better than that guy who lubes up to the Yankees.

Slight difference here there are some criticisms unlike Here Judge.
