I just want to avoid Utah. I think we will beat them though. Skip is going to try to do too much.

My thoughts exacty. I can't wait to see his stat line from the 3 point line. I expect nothing less than 15 attempts from skip tonight

you never went to the astrodome to watch the braves as a kid? Spanish is the first language of astro fans.

The fact that it is the same exact team from last year with the exception of Ty Wiggington and Randy Wolf.

the exact team that overachived by a whopping 9 games last year according to baseball prospectus so they bascially played out of their arse for a stretch in the 2nd half. I'm sure since Drayton is the owner they will play out of their arse again.

no it's really not

There is so much hate on this site for the Astros and I get sick of reading it, especially because most of it is from people who don't watch the Astros and know nothing about them, yourself included.

My wife would beg to differ with your premise that I don't watch the Astros. I watch a ton of baseball other than the cubs for 6 months and of course I see the Astros a lot. They aren't good. Sorry.

Was that the "PETCOTA" predictions?

Seriously though, so they overachieved according to a websites prediction from last year, who gives a shite? What exactly does that matter? They don't play the games on paper or start the post season based on PECOTA's prediction of how good a team should be so it really doesn't matter at all. This is a very weak argument on your part if this is the best you can come up with.

It's all good. I came to the realization a while back that there are some retards on this site who talk out of their arse about hings they know little about. Your opinion about the Astros could not mean less to me because you know shite about them. Best of luck to the Cubs this year and good game tonight. Sorry your boys got beat tonight by a bunch of decrepit has-beens

I'm not talking about the Petcota predictions I'm talking about the pythagorean expectations based on run differential. The stros should have won 9 games less than they did. So they pulled some extra wins out. It just keeps fueling Drayton's false hope and he'll reach again in July and trade for some lame 4th starter to make a run at a .510 winning percentage and the cycle will continue.

And it really doesn't bother me that you think I know little about baseball. It's the stance I would expect one to take when someone talks about their team negatively. No worries
