Can come bets be taken down? Or are they up until a hit? Thinking of using comes for the same thing in the future

I'm a positive person. Even if I think it should come I don't bet it.

No. Then people would bet them every roll and pull them if they don't hit.

Let's say my point is 5 and I lay down a come bet. I roll a 6. So now I have two active points really. I understand this much.

Legs say I law down a third come bet, and roll another 6.

My first come bet pays out even money. Can I remove my total original come bet or do I have to add the original bet to the new come bet, both points 6.

Does my question make sense?

You get paid on the original bet and comes down. The new bet in the come goes back on that number. It's called "up and down".

Yeah. It has the same odds as the the pass line, but it makes you either lose a ton a bad 7 or win a ton if the shooter is hot.

If you are conservative with your bankroll I'd just play the pass line.

Been thinking about this idea.... Feel free to show me the weaknesses.

Bet an even amount on the come out roll on pass AND don't pass line.

You have a 1/36 chance of losing half your bet (the pass line) if a 12 is rolled.

When they establish a point, any point, load up on the don't pass odds.

You overcome the ~3% loss from the 12's on the come out rolls by having a major advantage to win at this point.

Amirite?

What does a 4 point fire bet pay? I've never seen that bet before.

You lose your don't pass if they roll a 7 or 11

eta: there's also more ways to lose your pass line than the twelve

Pass line Odds
6 and 8 (then as you win, place on the other numbers)
$5 hard ways (press each time you win)
$5 fire bet every time -- its just too much money to win for the risk. I've witnessed a 5/6 fire win, $5 for $1,250 i believe.

i like to hop 6's here and there too.

Lauberge is pretty shitty @ 25:1 (I think, i wasn't betting it)

But they pay 7:1 on 3 point hits, most places don't pay until the 4th.
