The problem is that guys who can regularly hit 300 with 40 hrs and 115 rbis while playing third base are all future hall of famers.
Arenado and Machado make three times Bregman salary
With the fact that we are realizing everyone cheats, I don’t think any GM would have much leverage.

Why would Bregman or Altuve or Correa do this?
They are all on contracts less than their worth.
I'm an astros fan, but this is not true. Altuve is set to make $29 million this year.

Except there is no evidence that this is common place throughout the league. Many players on numerous teams have came out and said they have been in multiple other club houses and have not seen anything close to this level of cheating.
The defense of "everyone is doing it" just isn't a legitimate excuse if there is no evidence.

And despite going 60-21 at home last year, the astros fans hang on to the fact that "well it wasnt proven they cheated in 2019." Yet they think every other team in the mlb was cheating with absolutely zero evidence. So hilarious the logic with those assholes.

1. I wasn’t using everyone cheats as an excuse. I was using it to explain why GMs aren’t going to hold it against Altuve or Bregman if they became available.
2. I didn’t realize how much Altuve was on. So I misspoke saying he’s in a cheaper contract. But I will say. Cut him lose and he’d get that from someone else. League MVPs under 30 don’t become available often.

Well it kind of sounded like you were saying all players cheat so these guys shouldn't be seen any different.
I also stated if I was a GM I would use it against them.
1) Because what you get payed is based a lot on your stats. Im not going to pay for inflated stats.
2)Yea I may miss out on some talent but I would rather miss out on the talent than bring that distraction and stigma of cheating that is attached to them into my organization

I get it but bro you got vets and retired dudes getting tired of the hypocrisy and already calling out the Yanks and La Russa for doing the same thing.
It’s a hidden but known thing that teams were doing this back in the fifty’s and the Giants tipped off Thompson on arguably the most famous HR in MLB history.
Cheating is cheating. I don’t care if the Astros get nailed. It is what it is. I’m just tired of the finger pointing by baseball people when this is a known thing.
It’s just like Martha Stewart going to jail for insider trading. She was the example so that they could sweep it under the rug and not really look at how many celebrities do it. Same thing is happening here.
News flash. Cora and Beltran didn’t invent it.

No you wouldn’t. You might make a moral stance. But that would just mean you aren’t really serious about signing him. If he became available you’d have to pay upwards of thirty mil a year for him cuz that’s what he’s worth and 95% of the gms in the league don’t give a rip about this controversy. They just know they need to win

Except there is evidence that other teams cheated, and if thorough investigations of all teams were done, I'm convinced that there would be many others. MLB isn't going to do that, though.

None to the extent of the Astros, and the other teams that do have some evidence of cheating all have common denominators. The same people involved in the 2017 cheating with Astros

Just say no I won’t. Fire me.
Those same bitch arse Yankees would pay any one of them in a heartbeat.
Those are 3 really solid positions for the Yankees. Paying Correa or Bregman over Torres and Urshela is debatable at best. Altuve over DJ is absolutely laughable

The only reason there is no evidence is because no one has cared enough to look. that’s what the retired dudes have been trying to say for weeks. That’s why they are pissed. Because they want to know why is it a big deal NOW?

Pretty dumb of you to not realize you can know now.
Ever heard of home/away splits?
Last year Bregs hit .315 on the road with 25 HRs vs. .278 with 16 HRs at home.

You need to be drug tested if you honestly think Urshela, Torres and DJ are in the same ballpark of talent as Altuve, Bregman and Correa.

Apologizing should surely make up for blatant cheating and a stained trophy.

I think it’s clear the Astros were horrible at cheating. They actually gave opponents an advantage. Numbers don’t lie, unlike JD Martinez?
