But they weren't this year, On that day, And IT may cost them. Just like USC wasn't better than OSU that day and it WILL cost them!!

Key phrase here. One game doesn't define who is the "better" team.

YES!! USC is better than OSU!! But why didn't USC beat them!!! BTW I don't care what Cowherd says. The SEC is DOWN this year, but its still better than the Pac-10!!! I don't think USC would win the SEC and I do believe that Bama, FLA, or UGA could win the pac -10!!!!!!!!!

Exactly the point I was making.

Not a big game? Why did Troy work LSU the first half? Just weren't into the game.

Agreed.

Bama - Dunno about that one.
Fla - Yup.
UGA - Probably.
USC in the SEC - Sure as hell would have a shot.

WTF??? IOts a CONFERENCE game. If you want to be the BEST you MUST win EVERY GAME!! USC should know that by now!!! Stanford last year. UCLA the year before. Oregon State the year before??? Come on This team should not be losing to teams that bad.

Florida wasn't up for Ole Miss, we were flat for Arkansas last year, like you said Stanford/USC. Yeah it is a conference game and you gotta win em all but it happens every year. It's tough to bring it 110% every week. Should it? No, but it does.

Not sure I compared the two teams, just the games they played in. You said conference games and I gave some examples of teams shitting out against lesser opponenets in conference games.

Who else cam close to beating Arkansas by 53 points that season?
Do you not recall that Darren freakin McFadden was out that game with a broken toe and Dick was hurt so Arkansas started a wide receiver at QB?

hell yeah the SEC was down this year (ALONG with ALL of college football outside the big12), but they will still win 2 bcs bowls.. as usual. and no way does it get worse next year. SEC's lower teams have made much progress this season.

The bottom line is that USC under Pete hasn't beaten the best team in the SEC in any year.

Nor has any SEC team, NC's included, beaten the best PAC-10 team

Just a thought, The Pac-10 has a losing record against the MTN West. Enough said, I'm gonna go bask in the glory of victory.

Would you say the PAC-10 has been much stronger than the SEC the past several years?

So does the SEC dipshit. in fact the SEC does not have a winning record vs. any bcs conference or the 2 best midmajor conferences. You did load up beating on the Mac, Conf. USA, the Sun Belt, and 1AA teams though. Congrats.
