Can you find the SOS for SEC and Pac-10 teams for me? I'd like to see that.

the only team USC doesn't beat in a best of 5 series in the SEC this season is FLA

FLA, given the chance, would beat USC handily. Other than that, i think USC is as good as anyone in the SEC. An argument against that is borderline absurd.

I won't dispute that the Pac10 played a harder OOC schedule. But it doesn't make up for 35-8 versus 13-16. And the computer polls agree with me...including sagarin

McFadden was the leader in carries, while Jones led in yards.

"Best" is a subjective term. Most would say USC is the best team in the PAC-10.

Why? SEC West champions is a fact, completely objective. You would have a point if he said the "best" team in the SECW. That is debatable.

Anyway I dount Oregon St. wins out.

#5 Oklahoma - LOSS
#7 @Utah - LOSS
#8 @Penn State - LOSS
#9 Boise State - LOSS
#10 Ohio State - WIN
#11 Georgia - LOSS
#12 Oklahoma State - LOSS
#14 BYU x2 1 road 1 home - LOSS (x2)
#15 Michigan State - WIN
#16 @TCU - LOSS
#25 @Maryland - LOSS

I had to do all those from memory, so one or two may be incorrect, but I think Cal over Mich State and USC over tOSU are the only wins

They play that game 10 times USC wins 8. Are they the Pac-10 CHAMPION? No. The best team? By a mile.

Who is including Tennessee? Though Ucla is a PAC-10 cellar dweller so at least that is a fair match-up. How about the following:

#5 Oklahoma LOSS
#7 @Utah LOSS
#8 @Penn State LOSS
#9 Boise State LOSS
#10 Ohio State WIN
#11 Georgia LOSS
#12 Oklahoma State LOSS
#14 BYU x2 1 road 1 home LOSS
#15 Michigan State WIN
#16 @TCU LOSS
#25 @Maryland and LOSS

ETA: beat me to it.

Because he and others say it like they WERE the best team. The context he used it in would be equivalent to someone saying Penn. St. is awesome because they BLEW OUT the Pac-10 champion...if the scenario plays out.

You can't use that example. FLA beats Ole miss 9 out of 10. But they lost this YEAR to them. Sorry If they can't win the league then they aren't the better team. Its a simple FACT!!!!
