I loved Vickers as a blocker in Cleveland but he's not much of a runner.

He and Hillis together were lethal 2 years ago.

I think they just want to lessen the load on Bradshaw so he stays healthy. And maybe they think Wilson is a bit faster and better getting to the corner and turning up field. Certainly seems that way so far.
