College lacrosse is leaping forward & many see this as THE catalyst for growth of the game. Teams will need more players to contribute in games, which will absolutely attract the current generation of athlete.

Enjoy.

Crease dive is HUGE. Such an exciting play.

You see it on the pros almost daily. No reason why it shouldn’t be in the college game.

Not sure if 20sec to clear and a 60sec shot clock is short enough but I’ll take it.

Will be a little more fun to see defenders actually protecting their goalies again.

You're probably right.

Except for the millions of people who play, have played, or are connected to people that play.

The shot clock and the 20 second clear are going to create a great deal more end-to-end running. It will likely require teams to go deeper into their benches, and I like that aspect of it as a former parent. I mean, you see Hop. and 'Cuse, for example, come out with like 40 guys but how many actually get into the game?

I can see a fair number of turnovers and violations coming from either too slow or too forced play. Certainly a 20 second clearance favors the defense to an extent, giving more importance to the ride and only having to hold the ride to 20 seconds.

I would think a team like Denver will be adversely affected, at first, as they like to play a disciplined offense, with constant motion and perimeter passing to get just the right shot. The 60 second clock will force their hand a bit.

He's a senior, isn't he? Only one year to worry about it. He's not the best player on their team once they have possession from him winning nearly every face-off. LOL.
