Rivers is being hired for what’s between his ears, not what he can do on the field at this point. He’s not taking an active roster spot. It’s on the practice squad. I highly doubt Rivers will be resetting his hall of fame clock.

I don’t understand why certain people/things completely rid people of rational thought.
All I was saying is that Phillip Rivers is not going to have a strong arm. Not that he is a worse option than a mobile QB who hasn’t been in the league in 8 years.
