At this point I am starting to agree with this sentiment. They have played all legit opponents and went on the road with the 2nd string qb against a team that was suppose to out "physical" them.

we bounce back and beat them this weekend, we had our welcome to the big12 wake up call

That game is like the Big 12 championship game for Kansas St. If they win, they win the Big 12.
I'll be "rooting" for WVU.

the Harris Poll is even more wrong.

WVU - 15
TT - 21

They'll have their chance but I agree that their schedule isn't so much different than ND's to date.

It's hard to see it happening but I'd love to see them make it into an undefeated showdown with Oregon.

I thought everyone hated the "eye test"?

Oregon State is probably not a team on LSC/South Carolina's level and maybe not a top10 team at season's end and I really like Riley and the Beavers.

However, at this point, their schedule is about the same as Notre Dame's yet they're not getting nearly as many votes and it's not like ND has been absolutely dominating the teams a Top5 team should like Oregon and Alabama have.

K State I can see being above them because of the win @Oklahoma but it's hard to see the on-the-field results that would have ND so far above them.

Yeah, getting tired of CFB assuming everything based on reputation or program history.

We have no idea if the Beavers would beat Oregon at home or USC or Notre Dame or K-State or Ohio State...hell, tOSU struggled against Cal. Why couldn't they compete against Florida? Vandy did. LSU isn't an offensive Juggernaut.

The fact is they are undefeated and haven't played Mississippi Valley State and yet are ranked where Boise State or Hawaii usually get ranked as an undefeated.

The thing that makes it more odd is that so many people are talking about Notre Dame's schedule being murderer's row mainly because it contains so many bottom of the Top25 / "Other's Receiving Votes" type BCS teams when that's exactly who Oregon St has played so far.
