I mean people across the whole South and country post here. I'm not sure why some posters type (_)HS and automatically assume everyone knows a certain school is being referred to.

Brother Martin finally got the "monkey off of their back" after six years of trying, beat Jesuit yesterday 6-2 at East Jefferson.

On to the final four in Lafayette!!! GO 'SADERS!!!

Most likely OP means Catholic High School.

Caddo Magnet beat Loyola up in Shreveport, too.

Bunch of jealous folks in this thread. Everybody in La knows there can only be one.

There is a lot of that in every lacrosse thread.

Central also has a lacrosse program.

Sorry, CHS of Baton Rouge!

Also, I used to think that about Lacrosse until I went to my first game. I get that people think it's just for fun. Just watch a game in person. Those sticks are for striking and some of the hardest hits I've ever seen in sports were in Lacrosse games.

Will be a very different landscape at the Final 4 this weekend at St. Thomas More (Lafayette).
Caddo coming out if the north instead of Loyola or Byrd. Brother Martin instead of long time regular Jesuit. Catholic out of BR instead of STM. St. Paul's is the only squad with Final 4 experience this year having been at the last 5 or 6 straight.

Semis are at 12PM & 3PM Saturday.
Finals are Sunday at 3PM (I believe).

VSN will be live streaming the games.

Absolutely. BR Mustangs has seen continued growth + retention year to year for 4-5 years now. Will help Catholic-BR most. But Dutchtown will benefit as well.

Will be really interesting to see more BR schools pop up with teams in the coming 2-6 years.

From what I understand, the coach of FTK Lacrosse is either joining or taking over the Dutchtown program.

I remember when the state champ was determined when Loyola and Magnet, the only teams in the state, would play.
