Lt Dan is not going to let gambling And if he and Governor Wheels don't run for re election no first termer is going to risk losing their first reelection by pissing-off the Republican grassroots in their first term
so the idea that gambling was ever going to get legalized in Texas to the extent that this clown is claiming in the Ownership wanted it was never going to happen

A Mavs centered casino sounds stupid. Jerruh should just one up them and put a giant casino next to Jerruh’s World, nickname it “Jerruh’s Play Place”, and rake in the money

I wonder whether Jerruh would put it in Arlington or Frisco.
The intrigue here would be interesting to follow if the NBA didn't repulse me.
It is ironic that the state government is against "gambling" while they run the lottery, which offers the poorest odds of any game and has the most dishonest marketing of any game, too. The way they are allowed to conflate nominal dollars with real dollars is disgusting, but it is a voluntary tax for mostly poor people so I guess it is OK.
