Thanks for the insight. I do think St Johns roster should be chock-full of NYC kids. I just remember Lavin doing a radio interview in the aftermath and he was trying to be diplomatic but I could tell he didn't think St Johns did right by him.

you get two 4 star perimeter players to go there and one 5 star inside player in year two and you are top 10.
I bet there are 2 or 3 great high school players within 40 miles of campus.

Shiiit more than that. But you're competing against Kentucky, Duke, UNC, Kansas, etc for those kids.
