Had a mild rivalry renewed with the media push between Ovechkin and Crosby and then when Crosby took over as the beter player and face of the NHL, then won a cup bitchslapping the Caps along the way, that died as well and has died ever since with the Pens domination of the Caps.

yea i am over seas but in years prior ive watched plenty of hockey and watch it as much as i can here. Just b/c i didn't get to watch alot this season doesn't mean i don't know anything

i been gone a a year, once again you are not from pittsburgh or dc so you really have no idea what the rivalry is like. Me and my yinzer friends still talk shite 24/7 about each other, we still root for each other to lose in the playoffs. Ive been to multiple caps/pens games unlike you. To say its not an intense rivalry is fricking stupid. The rivalry isn't dead and if we meet in the playoffs the shite talking will just get elevated.
