The Cubs (12-4) take on the Reds (8-8) in Game 2 of this 4-game series. Jon Lester gets the start opposite Jon Moscat for Cincinnati. Go Cubs Go.
*During his current 24 game quality start streak, Jake Arrieta is 20-1 with an 0.86 ERA. Opponents are hitting just .151 against him, and he has just 33 BB, to 173 K. Darn impressive.

I was worried Arrieta's run last year would be a flash in the pan, so far he's proven me wrong. I've never seen someone just "get it" and flip the switch from mediocre to absolutely dominant like this before. Thank God he's on our side.

Arrieta gives a lot of credit to the Pilates workouts he started doing a couple years ago. Verducci had a huge SI on him a while back. Chris Bosio no doubt has made a difference as well. What a trade that was to get him and Strop.
