The Cubs (101-57) take on the Pirates (78-80) tonight from PNC Park. Rob Zastryzny (1-0, 1.46) gets the ball tonight opposite Ivan Nova (12-8, 4.25). Go Cubs Go!

What do you make of Jake BCM. I ain't gonna lie I'd flip Lackey ahead of him and he'd get a quick hook even then.
I was hoping he could build on the St. Louis start, but that was Fugly last night. I have very little confidence in Jake right now.

Well the command issues have been well documented. He has issued many more walks this year than last. The thing that concerned me was the big inning last night, with Pirates getting a bunch of runs all with 2 outs. Lackey as well as Lester have a shitton of postseason innings under their belt. Don't know if Joe will goe with the hot hand/experience, or keep the rotation similar to the regular season.
Lester and Hendricks have been rock solid all year. Can't wait to see what kind of rotation he puts out there

He just looks like he's trying to snap off his breaking pitches too much. He has bounced a bunch of pitches this year.

Im guessing they'll just both finish with 161 games officially. Doesn't really matter since the Pirates are eliminated and the Cubs have everything sewn up.

Jake has got to be fourth and with a short leash. That's what he's earned IMO. His ERA is well over 4 since mid June and he's had consistent issues making it past the 5th and 6th without getting blown up.
