I don't know if the stats back it up, but I feel like we always rake when Wacha pitches.

Let's keep the momentum of the past few weeks going fellas.

This series doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things but I feel like it’s super important. We beat up on bad teams the last few weeks and lost the one series vs the good team we played. I want to see some damn consistency vs some decent pitching damnit.

Christ that's a loaded lineup.

Question for Cubs fans. When did you guys know your 2015 team was going to skip the "stepping stone" and immediately start contending?

The Cardinals have been shite since they swept the Cubs earlier.

They did sweep them didn't they? The suck since has made my interest wane. Hell they even lost to the Reds once.

Everything came together after the all Star break and it felt like we didn't lose in August. I think that entire season turned when we played the Rockies at the end of July. We blew a lead in the 9th and then Bryant came back with a walk off in the bottom half.

What's the 2 on the infield for? Honoring Ozzy Smith?

The 4 game series against San Fransisco where we went in to it only a game up in the wild card over them and swept them... That's when it was for me.

Yep, that was it for me too. Giants were defending champs and the teams were fighting neck-and-neck for playoff contention. When the Cubs swept them they made a statement. I was there for two of the games, Wrigley was rocking.
