Modern day coaches are kinda cringe with how they feel the need to get attention (including Shane Beamer)

There’s been a pretty good push of investment in both academics and athletics at UTSA in recent years. I think the momentum can be sustained for a bit.

Athletically also for their budget, they benefit from a $240/semester athletic fee that is part of tuition. Multiply that times 30,000 students. G5 schools in Louisiana can only dream of that sort of easy revenue.

They were a terrible add. Could have tried to get SDSU, Boise State, Air Force, Liberty, etc
