after his injury, ive been worried as well. i honestly think it'll hurt the US big time come south africa. he was our enforcer, and a beast. now with him not playing any time soon even after his injury, that could mean trouble.

Umm...Donovan's performance in the MLS Cup is what drove LA during that game. He sent in a beautiful cross that McGee finished off. You probably just remember the shank of a PK which didn't matter in the end, because an RSL player (Beckerman?) missed one immediately after.
He's played very well for Everton with a limited amount of time to acclimate to their system. No one just scores goals like crazy immediately after a winter transfer. Even Arshavin who saved Arsenal last year, took about 5 games before scoring a goal. He's played very well when you consider that he came from the MLS where he's head and shoulders above the competition, to an incredibly physical and fast league.
So in that regards, I'll disagree with you.

Oh yeah I just click "reply to" on the last post. It's directed at Stewie. I normally agree with him on his footie input, but on this case I respectfully disagree.

SUPER COOPER
Aside: It's been so long since the summer and the days of the Cooper Contingent. (Nostalgic tears roll down my face)
Second Aside: The Situation Coed intramural soccer team featuring thenry712 in goal dominated Thug Life with a 4-2 win. Although yours truly was very upset at the goals scored in mop-up time. My team played great but I went all Tim Howard Tourretts when we starting playing lax with everyone running forward at random.

Donovan's cross was nice...the rest of the game he was dull. He was decent v Arsenal, less so v. MC. I'll agree to disagree.
Cooper should make the roster. He won't, however.
Are you the captain? I was at the captain's meeting but we're in the men's division. Let's just say Stewie Griffin led side rolled out to a dominant 7-2 win to start the season off.

No I didn't feel like going in the hole 100 bucks and having everyone pay me, so I delegated the official captain's duty to my Honduran pal. I consider myself the on field captain and Drew Brees emotional leader.
