He already has a QB and doesn't need to draft him. Otherwise he wouldn't be talking so much. I bet he wouldn't risk his job to draft him. He's just being a supporter of his ex player.

he has all the physical tools and was just in a shitty college offense

I've defended McCarthy a few times on here, but he has been inaccurate beyond 15 yards. I think that's his NFL problem if it isn't fixed. He is great on short throws and very accurate. If he can improve his longer routes (he usually has enough arm), then he can be very successful

His offense wasn't the problem in college to me. He missed a lot of opportunities downfield

That Michigan offense wasn’t built to be a pass happy offense.

Except Jim had turned out QBs that looks great in college too.

Who else besides Luck? I think McCarthy will be the first QB drafted since Harbaugh has been at Michigan.

It wasn't that long ago that Harbaugh's seat was considered hot because the QB play and overall offense was kind of dogshit.

I feel like this is somewhat of a ploy as well to drive up the price of the chargers #5 pick. ALOT of teams need a QB and they need to move up to get one. Big Jim would love two 1st rounders and a 2nd for hi #5

He’s such a good QB that Harbaugh did everything he could to make sure JJ didn’t throw the ball whenever possible.

He was beyond mediocre in the Game and he wasn't that great against Bama, receivers made some clutch catches and he had a lot of of checkdowns.

I don't know, I've never understood the praise the 5-6 times I've watched him.

He never screamed NFL stud. Just manager CFB QB to some degree.
