You could make the argument that Chandlers offensive game is lightyears ahead of Okafors.

Chandler's entire offensive game consists of put backs and throwing down CP3's lobs.

I dont think you get how bad Okafors Offensive game is.

Chandler makes 2 million per year more than Okafor, but I wonder how much longer and for how much each has in his contract.

chandler's deal expires after this year i believe. They're the same age, but Okafor has played all 82 the last 2 years.

Okafor averages 5 more ppg over his career than Chandler has.

They just signed Okafor to a 6-year deal I think. Maybe they believe they made a mistake and want to dump him.

that's got to be it. i didn't realize that okafor just signed an extension. this would definitely be an upgrade for NOLA at center, but okafor is getting $62.5 million over the next 5 seasons. another bad contract landing in new orleans isn't really surprising at this point

Yeah I just can't really figure out why the Bobcats would make the deal.

he's a career 14 PPG guy without playing with a PG like paul. chandler only puts up 8 PPG for his career

what cant you figure out

they realize that they have hornetized their front office

they have about 30 million per year tied up in three players and a bunch of hot garbage filling out their roster

im sure they are jumping at this chance

From a Hornets point of view....Im not sure why you would hate this trade. Ik it doesnt drasticly drop the payroll, but it does lessen it a little and we would get more of a scorer inside which is what we havent had in while.

I dont know what any of the other fans want, but I would like this deal. Not to sure why Charlotte would want it though.

Is this a deal to perhaps put a more appealing deal together with another team once we aquire Okafor??? Bc this deal is not about the money.

bad for bad maybe

doesnt make sense from a hornets money standpoint

doesnt make sense from a bobcats aspect cause Chandler is not much without CP3

Gerald Wallace
Jason Richardson
Raymond Felton

I think the Hornets know that we dont have that good of a shot at winning the championship....soo getting a better scorer down low could help a little bit.

dude, it drops it one mill a year, and locks up like 60 mill for 5 more years. its not a good deal for the hornets. there is no debating this
