We’ve got dudes playing their 7th, 8th, and 9th seasons. I don’t find what he’s trying to do as unlikable at all.

They’re all unlikable

In this qb class he would have gone much higher than the 2027 draft

You might want to Google "supplemental draft".

They don't do that anymore. There wasn't one last year and reports indicated they didn't intend to do it anymore.

I think he will end up back at Ole Miss in the fall, but I'm also confused as to why. Had an article on my feed this morning about the battle between Simpson and Nuss for the second QB taken. Seems like Chambliss is missing an opportunity at being a first rounder.

I am the furthest thing from a QB-talent evaluator though, so I'm sure I am missing something obvious.

Chambliss would be at worst the 4th best QB in the draft. He’s at least a second rounder in this draft IMO

He's getting terrible advice, simple as that. Plus, he's going to get paid more this year than he would if he went to the draft. Now in the long run...

Ole Miss will sue them in county court to force them.

Yes. It's all about getting to the second NFL contract, getting closer to fully vested NFL retirement, etc. Seems short-sighted.

The deadline to apply for the draft, is for everyone that still has eligibility left. The NFL is going by the current ruling that he is still eligible to play college ball, so he would have had to apply prior to the deadline.

LOL I have a feeling if Trinidad doesn't get eligibility, their ability to care about him will diminish.
