The defense is never going to be good under Riley. You just have to hope the offense is good enough to overcome it. Blowing up the Pac 12 and going to the Big 10 where a lot of teams play hard nosed defense was bad news, just look at the teams that usually gave Riley teams fits. Iowa St and Kansas St in the Big 12, Utah in the Pac 12. The Big 10 is full of teams like that and now road games for them are on the other side of the mainland.
Hope the money was worth it.
