Any chance of OU or tOSU tripping up and losing a game?

I see 4 undefeated teams at the end of the season with loser of LSU vs BAMA getting left out.

BAMA/LSU
OU
tOSU
Clemsen

Wisconsin and Penn St are capable teams imo. Oklahoma will probably play Texas again in Big 12 championship.

Loser of Bama/LSU is not automatically left out.

This is what will happen though if Big 10/Oklahoma/Clemson are unbeaten

We need an 8 team playoff

FCS did it best with the 16 team format

10 auto bids and 6 at large

They’re 24 is good also as it is within bylaws but it’s whatever
With 24 you still use the top 7 bowls and NCG

For people saying a 9 doesn’t belong

In first round 24, play the 8 seed, play the 1 seed, play a 2/3 seed in Champ game most likely

Say it’s a 16 seed
They’d play 17, the 1, the 8, the 4/5, the 2/3 seeds

They would’ve earned the NC

I don’t see OSU running the table. Toughest sledding of anyone IMO with Wiscy 2x, PSU and TTUN, and I think the NW game will be 1 score...scares the hell out of me.

Why? Because your feelings would be hurt if two SEC teams make it?

If there are 4 undefeated power 5 teams, then yes they should. What if there are only 2 undefeated conference champs and everyone else has a loss?

The only chance for OU is Texas in the championship game. OSU, I can only see possibly dropping the whisky game. That’s the only hope.

No. Because it's comical how so many seem to think losses don't matter when it SEC.

Say LSU loses to Bama. Highly likely.

Meanwhile, say UW loses a close one to OSU in Columbus but then beats them in Indy.

Who do you think is more deserving?

One loss Tiger team has no chance.
A one loss Bama will sneak in due to Saban crying

No, we don't. Six at the most, but it'd be better to make it the Power 4 conference champs and tell the Pac and ND to pound sand.
