have always been a die hard sports fan, but sports betting has really opened my eyes to a LOT more info than I could have ever imagined. As long as I'm not losing BAD, its completely worth it.

Can anyone answer a couple of questions

I placed a bet on the ($30) NYG DAL game for NYG to cover (they did) and i won 25 bucks.

I originally deposited 60 bucks into my account. If I remember correctly, it showed me having $30 in my "free money". My free money is now down to 0 and my account balance is at $90

So what the frick happened? Can I place a bet without having any free money?

Usually that free money only becomes available to you for every hundred dollars you wager or whatever. Usually it's like for every $100 you wager (of YOUR money) you get $5 on the free play until its all gone.

And betting NFL

I won the majority of my money on the NFL. I love college football just as much as anyone else, but there are too many teams for me to keep up with on a regular basis. THats why I rely on you and Tots for my college pics. I have a good feel on the SEC and what Michigan is doing, but its a crap shoot after that.

Also, you mentioned that you should have been betting bigger earlier in the year. Do what you want, but my advice to you is to do EXACTLY what you did this year. You had a fantastic year. Every year will not be this good. The hardest lesson I've learned is that discipline is key, and pick a decent 'unit' and stay consistent with it. If you start out with a $200 bank roll betting $50 games, you'll be out of business soon more often than not. You're good, but Vegas is better. Always remember that

Get rid of the internet betting and get with a local bookie. The payout is bullshite with an international LLC and often taken weeks, if not months to collect.

The beauty of having a local guy is that all transactions are dealt in cash and on a weekly basis. This allows you to pace yourself and not count on money that may come in 6 weeks.

1) thanks for the advice
2) I know your right but it was just like I knew what was king to happen. Like I knew for a fact okie st was gonna cover against tulsa and made it a big bet for me (at the time) of 40 bucks if I saw that line with the mindset on betting that I have and have learned this year it would have been a lot bigger

I've raised my min bet to 30-50 and I haven't had a problem with it. I jut wish I had my mindset that I do now 10 weeks ago

I just have always loved college and really have a feel for what's going on. Nfl is a crap shoot to me. I bet it small for something to keep me occupied and a reason to watch Oakland play Kansas city

You make a valid point, but there are many pros to betting online too The options are unlimited. Online is always available. I've never had a local that offered lines by the quarter or the half, but then again I've been betting online the last 5 years or so. Betting with 5dimes, i've had 0 issues making withdrawals and they are in my checking account within a week. Online gambling has come a long way.

Again, I'm not saying you're wrong. I've done both and they both have their advantages. The best option for me right now is online.

Yeah and so is smokin weed

Pretty sure your not gonna get arrested for betting with a bookie

Did a research paper on it and the amount of money that's illegally gambled each year is 20x more then bet in Vegas

Not doubting you, but haven't you figured out yet that absolutely NOTHING is fact? I was heavy on Okie State that night too, and I was up until 3 am along with ya, and we won that one, but you don't win all those. And if you start the year by going losing a few like you did this bowl season and go down $250, thats quite a f'n hole to dig yourself out of.
