Moral victory, grats. We understand your point about Central not being Barbe. Nobody matches Barbe. 6 championships in the highest classification over the last 25 years ain't bad though.

Somehow Sid Edwards is allowed to continue to steal money like a thief with his salary and his results. Central has become a train wreck. Get Jason Kinchen but Walker's Coach, Sandifer, will probably want job as well. He was an early 80s graduate of Central.

Between Politics and this, Central is a joke.

I believe he lives very close to the school also. On the other hand, he is apparently very close to retirement eligibility and very much not a fan of the "parental influence", if you understand.

Real interested to see where Forbes ends up.

I know it was edited but I was hoping for Kinchen or Theriot. Not sure if St. Michael's has made a hire.

I found this right after I posted above.

St. Michael High School would like to welcome David Gomez to the Warrior Family as the new Head Baseball Coach! Coach Gomez comes from Eastern New Mexico University and brings with him many years of coaching and playing experience.

St. Michael announced their coach. He’s coming from a university in New Mexico.

What it boils down too is kids as damn cry babies and mommy and daddy take up for them.

Also why would any one want to go coach that team when the administration basically does what the parents want instead of taking the coaches sides and telling them to get lost cause they have a damn good coach

This is where I am lost. The parents dont want state titles?

What is the gripe?

Sometimes this is the case, but there are plenty of shite-head, tough guy coaches out there that have anger issues.

I played sports throughout grade school and fortunately only ran into a couple assholes.

Pushing a kid to test their limits is expected. Cursing them out and throwing temper tantrums at them is not an acceptable way to do it.

LOL at you for thinking parents care if their son's team wins or not. Parents are worried about 1 player on that team, and nothing else.

Unless they lose, then obviously the coach was incompetent.

that sounds bogus. Not only one title but two and made central baseball great again they haven't been since like the 80s

They hired a guy that was a D2 head coach for 6 years. On the surface that seems like a very good hire. Apparently he's from Cut Off and graduated from LSU. Played at Southern under Cador. Also coached at a JUCO in New Mexico.

It’s all about he pushed kids to be their the best the could be and did award positions to the jr. and sr’s. Kids didn’t like that cause they couldn’t be lazy in practice. If I’m not mistaken central had two freshmen starting and I promise you that ruffled a lot of feathers

Denham Springs can send Coach Carroll over. Played for him at CP and he is one hell of a coach.
