I don't think it's hyperbole to say that if you root for the Celtics, you're worse than Hitler, bin Laden, Tim McVeigh, and Don Zimmer.

True but the same could be said if you root for any Boston Sports team.

God I hope this isn't a series. I want to skull frick them. 4-1 worst case. I don't want these frickers hanging around and having a chance to hurt us.

ETA: and I remember just recently making a comment like "Damn, how irrelevant has this series become?" the last time they played. I hope I don't eat my words.

Why do I get the feeling you weren't a Cavs fan before Lebron??

Hopefully his elbow will keep him from settling for jumpers. He can get to the rim at will against the Celtics. I guess you can really say that about any team they play, but Boston is particularly helpless

I'll be sorely disappointed if the Cavs have an opportunity to run up the score and embarrass the Celtics but don't.

Not really buying the lebron injury. Does anyone else think he is over acting on ho much it bothers him?

Me neither. And I don't give a frick admitting it, either. Basketball is the one sport where being a fan of individual players transcends team fandom. Especially if you group in a city and/or state that doesn't have a team. I loved the Hawks because of Dominique, but after he got traded, I didn't really like any NBA team until Lebron got in the league.

eta---And if you don't like, you can get the frick out.

I'm convinced he was goofing around and told somebody along the way he was going to shoot some free throws left handed

It was hard being a Cavs fan from the mid 90s to the Bron days. I don't blame ya

Yes, thank you.

Cleveland was the first city I lived in that even had an NBA team. I hate having to explain myself to these fricks every year. But I agree, I've always been more of a fan of individuals.....Jordan, Shaq, Iverson now Bron and honestly just the Cavs because I fell in love with them. Even if he leaves I'd still be a Cavs fan from now on. BUT I REALLY frickING HOPE HE DOESN'T LEAVE.

No, we left Cleveland last year. I only lived there for about 2 and a half years...but all my in-laws are there and we're pretty tight.

I'd like to see the Cavs run a little bit. Hopefully they will when Shaq sits.
