You make some good points bro. We'll see. It's surprising to me that the Celts have never been down 2-0 in the big three era though

I dog bosh because he plays to soft. If they get a center like a perkins type bosh's game would fit perfect.
Props on doing the research

They've only played one series without home-court against an evenly matched team in the Big 3 era.
2009 doesn't count.
ETA: But I think they had home-court in both series in 2009 anyway.

Series don't start till the road team wins a game bruh. Sportscenter will definately be all heat all the time tonight though. Espn is just horrendous sans their coverage of actual games.

Well yes.
You hear the shitty teams always say: "They didn't do anything special. They just won two games at home like they're supposed to."
And the teams who usually say that always lose, because they are a far inferior team to their opponent.
However, the statement actually is true. Nothing has really happened until a team loses on their home floor. And if they do, then they better get it back quick.
Basically, if this series is tied 2-2 going into Game 5, it won't matter how we got there.

Dallas/Miami would be a good finals. Maybe Ghazi's team could get some revenge. Their zones fricked the Heat up during the regular season

More surprising: the Celtics team has never lost a playoff series without Perkins.

I'm waiting for Dallas to unveil the zone against LA. They are one of the best zone teams in the league, maybe the best, simply because they play a lot of zone.
I'll have to look back through the Mavs Thread, but I knew Celtics/Mavs would be an epic Finals for most of the season. Towards March I knew that Heat/Mavs would be an epic Finals. Then right at the end, I once again knew that Celtics/Mavs would be an epic Finals.

Thanks man! I love looking for stuff like that.
I agree Bosh plays a little soft but because of his style of play he helps spread the floor for Wade and James to get to the rim and finish or kick it to him or someone else. Also he is great for running the pick and roll with them because he can knock down that 15-20 ft jump shot or slash to the basket.
Also, people seem to overlook this is only year 1 in a 6 year process. The role positions will improve over time.

If Anthony were a few inches taller he'd be the perfect starting center for Miami.

Agreed. i said i would try to trade him knowing that was not even a remote possibility irl. I would at least explore it though in case somebody wanted to give up waaay to much for him. However with his contract that's not going to happen.

The Heat just need to improve their bench. They are fine everywhere else.

I understand the logic behind it. Trade Bosh for 2 or 3 good role players to replace the minimum contract guys. Improving the overall bench.
I disagree with it because this is a very unique situation with the Heat. 3 guys who are STILL and getting into their prime. Keeping Bosh you can rest Wade and James at the same time during the game and you still have a guy on the court who was averaging 24 a game before he came to Miami. No other team in the NBA has that luxury. Most teams dont have a second option that has averaged 24 for a season.

Bosh seems unlikely to go anywhere
first off because he is close friends with the other two stars on the team... secondly because they can win with him on the team... lastly because his contract is hard to move

I wouldn't even trade bosh for 2 or 3 role players, like i said a team would have to blow me away with an offer. I see where your coming from though. I think the problem with bosh is he is part of the "big 3" when in reality he's not on the same level as lebron and wade. He shouldnt be measured against them but seen as you said as a really good third option
This is a great board when you can actually have civil discussions with other posters

Amen to that.

The Warden is my favorite player in the NBA, other than Chris Paul.
He's a menace on defense.

He's definitely provided some much-needed presence in the interior, i always thought his rebounding numbers were poor.

But what he provides in terms of perimeter D, pick and rolls, and anytime someone drives the lane on him, I'm sure the Heat don't mind any rebounding deficicencies.
Dude is a beast. Now offense on the other hand...yikes.
