Part Time - Basketball Operations Analyst Intern

Part-time, Internship
General Description:
The Basketball Analytics Intern is responsible for coordinating and integrating the field of analytics into the day-to-day functioning of the basketball operations Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
Prepare research for Basketball Operations
Collect data from databases, and external sources
Analyze data and summarize key findings
Build software tools
Support internal software systems, including both, front and back-end web development.
General support of the Basketball Operations Department.
Demonstrates our One Team philosophy of Passion, Accountability, Customer Focus, and Teamwork.

Minimum qualifications:
College student or recent graduate preferred
Must be ambitious, organized, professional, mature, analytical, and deeply detail-oriented
Prior experience in related discipline.
Intermediate to strong knowledge of basic statistics and the ability to communicate that knowledge to others that do not possess the same statistical background.
Experience with varied programming languages, particularly SQL, Node, JS, and Python.
Experience with large data sets is an advantage.
Interest and familiarity with basketball and terminology.
Knowledge of GIT or similar Version Control Systems.
