LeBron did put up numbers like that in February, granted the point totals were a little lower.
I mean Kobe takes a ton of shite for shooting the ball every play (disclaimer: not on Kobe's dick either; actually don't like the guy), but Carmelo does the same thing and takes no grief. If J.R. Smith shot as much as Carmelo he'd be averaging 30 points per game too.
Carmelo just isn't an MVP type guy in my eyes. To you maybe he is, but he's just a volume scorer to me.

no one in the world gets shite when they are scoring 40 and shooting 60%. people get shite when they are shooting low percentages

Melo is a scorer, not a player.

The reason Anthony is scoring so much right now is that he's being more patient and playing more of a team game than he had in the past.
He's passing the ball and waiting for it to come back to him which allows him to take shots that aren't as forced, which is why his percentage is up.

Probably said the same kind of shite about dirk and the mavs right before they won. Melo isn't lebron,but he's a damn good player.
