They should have signed Feldman.

Nah, I do think they make a run at one of the remainders.... Hell swing a trade for Homer Bailey/Brandon Philips.... Or let one of the kids compete for the 5th spot.... And I actually forgot about our best pitcher during the second half last year.... Nova

So we would roll out
CC
Kuroda
Tanaka
Nova
Phelps

I can live with that as Phelps was good enough last year, his thing was getting past the 6th. I hate losing Boone,Joba, and Mo and I think that will be bigger than the SP.

Pineda should be penciled in as a starter. Tanaka is key. Phelps could go to pen.

Jeter to 2nd base and sign Drew to play ss? Read a blog on it this am, laughed at first but it could make a lot of sense.

That's right they have Pineda as well... the forgotten big time arm. If he's healthy, he'll be a big boost. I don't think Jeter would ever move to second nor would the Yankees ever ask him to.

I don't count on Pineda honestly....
Phelps is a #5 or long relief really good for 5 innings at a time but he could develop and become a little better. Main thing is Kuroda and CC if Kuroda pitches like he did down the stretch and CC continue to regress it doesn't matter who the other 3 will be.

True it's all starts with Sabathia and trickles down from there. That it is hard to depend on Pineda coming off an injury year, it could be a big X factor for you guys. He's a young right handed Sabathia. I'd honestly be surprised if he doesn't make the back end of that rotation. He's healthy.

That trade has been horrible for Yanks and M's... Still time for both guys to develop but still....

Imagine Yanks could have had Felix for Hughes/Joba back in day and didn't wanna part with either

Teams and fans for that matter always tend to overrate their prospects. A large amount of prospect tend to fall way short of expectations. I've never been against trading talent for proven MLB talent... like the King Felix trade. The Yankees missed the boat on selling Betances the last few years for quality talent in return. I'd talk to Yankee fans and every trade scenario to them would be crazy... because he's untouchable and will be a star. The odds are typically in the favor of the team getting the star player in return.

It's been ten years since Soriano was a butcher at second. There is no way he's going back

Why? It was on the table and the Yankees at the time didn't want to part with both.

Says the Post and Daily News? Mariners would have traded Felix for offense if anything. The NY and Boston media tried to create Felix rumors for almost a decade. 'Oh I don't know if the Yankees should part with both Banuelos and Betances for Felix'
