Can Fried hold the Cardinals to less than 6 runs in the first 3 innings tonight?

The last 2 games have really pissed me off with the poor SP performances. What's the latest on Soroka? Is he done for the year. TIA

Sounds like a sneaky way of asking for betting advice.

Soroka is done for the year but no surgery.

Sorry to hear that. Was hoping to get him going for the next 3 weeks. Hope he can make it back but I am beginning to lose hope. Hope he doesn't feel like me

Yeah I know. bet the over right? If I do, maybe he will shut them out with my luck. I would like that do. I often bet on the other team so I can lose the bet and the Braves win. I can afford it

The hollowed out husk of Adam Wainwright is pitching for the Cardinals. Why wouldn't you take the over?

That's what I said bet the over. A combination of Wainwright and similar effort like the last 2 turd efforts from our last 2 SP's should guarantee an over play........On second thought I am now almost convinced that Under is the play.

Fried has an ERA of just 1.38 overs last 2 starts, with opponents hitting just .196 against him, and I do expect a solid start from him at home here Thursday night. Wainwright has an ERA of 8.10 this season and an ERA of 8.67 on the road with opponents hitting .356 against him. Atlanta has also hit .319 as a team lifetime against Wainwright, so you can expect them to give Fried plenty of run support here

After further review......Play the Over

I'd be most appreciative if Fried can strike out 7.

If he pitches like he did against the Dodgers on Friday, the Cardinals won't touch him.
