“The NCAA is issuing a blanket waiver for FBS and FCS teams to increase the preseason practice/fall camp roster from 110 to 120 players, sources tell @YahooSports.
It’s effective for the 2024 season but FB Oversight and D1 Council will consider a permanent policy this summer.“

so now you have 10 more players to ask for NIL and then additional to hit portals or I assume this is the walk on crowd?

The actual scholarship number is not 110 or now 120. That is the total roster number.
The scholarship number remains at 85. These other people are likely not getting NIL or able to even threaten to transfer as they are merely walk ons and extra bodies.
