which coincides with my football watching life

melsbys fumble, which wasnt a fumble and probably cost us a national championship, is one of the earliest athletic events that i can fully remember and the 1999 season is the first one that i actually could truly understand what was happening

UCLA was good in the 70s, very good in the 80s, average for most of the 90s with the 98 and 99 seasons being very good, and atrocious for the 00's, worst decade of UCLA football.

UCLA won two Rose Bowls, went to three in the 80s, and won the pac-12 5 times. You can't say we were bad in the 80s.
