Clark could join the Harlem Globetrotters, use marketing like the Savanah Bananas and make more money and sell out every area playing just once a day every weekend.

She doesn’t need the WNBA at all

Bill Burrs rant is the most accurate take of all time and deserves to be posted in every thread about women’s sports.

Women don’t watch women come together and play sports, then complain the players don’t make enough money.

Women love to watch the Kardashians and Real Housewives of Wherever tear each other down and call each other skanks, and they make millions upon millions

Basically. Women don’t watch sports, even if women are playing them.

Oh I’d love to hear this. Please show us how I’m race baiting by posting a USA Today article that has nothing to do with race, and posted quotes from a wnba player starving for attention.

It’s the way you strategically post Angel Reese with certain facial expressions to incite negative reactions. You didn’t post a picture of Caitlyn Clark because you had certain intentions when you made this post. I know how you operate dude.

Here's an interesting article from The Athletic: The Caitlin Clark Effect and the uncomfortable truth behind it

quote:

we should not delude ourselves into believing her appeal as an influencer is based solely on basketball, because it’s not. Arguing otherwise is an affront to history and reality.

Clark’s attractiveness to local companies and national corporations is heightened by the fact that she is a White woman who has dominated a sport that’s viewed as predominately Black; a straight woman who is joining a league with a sizable LGBTQ+ player population; and a person who comes from America’s heartland, where residents often feel their beliefs and values are ignored or disrespected by the geographical edges of the country.

Because sport and society are constructed from the same fabric, it’s impossible to separate them, which is why it’s foolish to act as if basketball is the only thing fueling The Caitlin Clark Effect. The primary thing? Yes. But not the only thing.

She’s the only player in the league that can dribble, shoot, and pass

People who don't watch the games actually believe this.

The fact is she set the all-time record for turnovers last season, and leads the league again so far this year.

Sadly, this is true. Sad because the WNBA has so much more to offer. I get why the league is hyping her up and her supposed feud with Angel Reese.

What will be interesting to me is to see how long Clark will continue to get such attention. How long will it be before Clark simply blends into the league and those that do follow her realize that she's just another player in the WNBA.

I didn’t post a picture of her because I didn’t post a quote from her. I posted a picture of reese to go along with a quote from her, which directly pertains to the thread and makes her look rather foolish and starved for the attention that Clark is getting.

So that’s debunked. What else ya got?

That was the first picture that came up when I searched for her quote lol. Why are you pulling made up claims out of the air to fit your argument? Would you prefer if I found another picture of her? Would that make it all better and lead you to actually address the topic, instead of focusing on the first picture I could find to post? Talk about grasping for straws

Not much to address. Most people know Clark drives the ratings.

The point is dumb. Brennan is Clark obsessed and thinks the league should lower flags to half mast because Caitlin will miss a few weeks. You're Angel obsessed so you tried to insert her into Brennan's already stupid story.
