To my 2 downvoters-----Did you even watch the video? What I posted is clearly shown in the clip. On a positive note, he didn't look to be in serious pain as he was sitting there on the turf talking to a trainer and not writhing in pain like a serious injury.

Well I can tell you from treating them as well as being the one to diagnose them, a torn Achilles isn’t super painful. But it’s debilitating.

Let’s hope it isn’t a complete tear.

Russini just tweeted 2 minutes ago that it’s confirmed to be a strained calf according to sources.

Bengals sources have confirmed what HC Zac Taylor shared after practice. QB Joe Burrow has a strained calf.

Another big injury today
quote:

Adam Schefter

Dolphins’ six-time Pro-Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey will undergo knee surgery and is expected to miss the start of the regular season with the injury that he suffered during today’s practice, per league sources. Ramsey’s ACL is intact, though, which is a positive.

Grabbing his calf sounds like an Achilles injury. That would suck.

Without having read through the thread, This is what scares me the most.

Lol Pull them yourself pussy

Dude has been alive and well for 8 months. I simply suggested he shouldn’t win CPOY.

Burrow just suffered an injury and people are actively jerking off and hoping it’s serious

Why would that matter? I’ve been a Burrow fan since 2018. Am I not allowed to hope that he didn’t tear an Achilles just because I wasn’t born and raised In Cincinnati, Ohio?

I can’t point out that a comment is classless when it is bc I’m a Saints fan and not a lifelong Bengals fan?

No but don’t talk about other fanbases being classless in this thread (hint: most aren’t) and act like you’re all mad when you know nothing of how Bengals players and fans acted in the past

Nobody wants Burrow hurt. He is great for the league and if your team is good enough then beat him. Bama fans actually really like Joe and I know quite a few. Doesn’t mean they didn’t want to beat him in college.
Same kind of respect for Hurts and other great players from the SEC and other conferences. I remember when Dak Prescott played in Green Bay and they asked if he was intimidated. He chuckled and said, I played in Baton Rouge at night. I’m ok.

Burrow will be fine. Injuries are a part of an NFL career. He’s a monster and is mentally strong enough to handle it.

Here’s to Tua and Joe having a healthy season and duking it out in the playoffs.

I was born during the Anderson years. All of my first memories watching football happened under Esiason. I have been a Bengals fan all my life and one thing us fans know are the Browns are cheap. However, Burrow is so beloved I don't even think Mike Brown can keep hold of the fans if he don't keep Joe. So I am pretty sure management don't want Burrow injured.

Damn, it would suck if he had to miss all preseason again.

Remember last year it was the appendix and they got off to a slow start. Probably would’ve gotten the 1 seed otherwise.

Maybe this is his way of holding out until that contract gets done. Wouldn’t blame him tbh

My original comment was towards a clear classless tongue in cheek comment from an Alabama fan

My 2nd was pointing out that a positive injury update had 3 downvotes to 1 upvote when I pointed it out.

Just a bit frustrating. Burrow seems like a good dude, but he’s been a MSB punching bag for basically 4-5 years now just bc he went to LSU.
