other than a few guys in the league or college, I've never ran across a Hispanic/Latino/Messican ball player in the parks or gyms here in Houston that could play worth a shite.

It's really only done in places with large Hispanic/Latin American communities. I don't see what the big deal is. It's just a marketing campaign to broaden the NBA's appeal.

I always was under the false impression that Hispanic month immediately followed Black month (February and then March). Guess you learn something new every day....
