Well, unless they are idiots two teams would never play each other within a 2 month span.

The scenario I pointed out is why baseball went back to the current unbalanced schedule a few years back.

i wish more american sports leagues would do something like this

more like international club soccer

you play each team home and home

divisions could be randomized, but i would like to have them regionalized just to have a team representing each part of the geographic area of the us

you would get a true champion with all teams playing the exact same teams

It's only a true champion that way if there isn't a post-season. A more true champion is crowned now. Teams play each divisional rival 15-18 times, so the division winner is the clear-cut best team most of the time. Then each division winner gets a 5-7 game playoff series against another division winner in a tournament. I like that format much better for determining a champ.

But parents are from Dominican, which is why he was able to play for them in World Baseball Classic. Sure he has the same choice in a World vs US all-star game.

The WBC is a joke, they asked Mike Mussina to play for Italy.

Well I agree it is a joke but AROD could still play for the world. He is not obligated to play for the US.

This year? Jeter, Bartlett, or Tulowitzki

And in all honesty, it's Jeter or Bartlett and it's not even close this year.
