It's Jeter or Bartlett.

But I am just pointing out that Tulowitzki is having a better year too.

Actually, Bartlett has pulled a ridiculous season out of his arse.

Bart VORP: 53.1
JeterVORP: 51.0
Tulo VORP: 37.3

Rollins has been on fire in the second half.

That's cool. Too bad all-stars are based on stats from the 1st half.

Some one should tell that to the fans who vote for the starters.

the fans are fricking stupid.

But either way, Rollins wouldn't have even been an all-star this year if it were US vs. World.

Jeter doesn't have any glove what so ever. You are showing your yankee homerism.

How the frick am I showing homerism. I thought we were talking about all-stars for this year. And Jeter is having a way better year the Rollins.

I came up with a list of players who could make the US all star team after a poster said the US would get crushed. You got your panties in a wad.

Yea I knew what you were doing. And I just assumed you would be using this year's stats.

And all I did was lol in the first place. Then you had to egg me on by calling out Jeter.

He says to contract two teams, so we would be down to 28. Then, every team would play ever other team three times at home and three times away.

He says they would be regional divisions, which would make traveling easier. So it keeps the Rangers from having to be in the west even though they are in the central part of the US, and so on.

Yeah I am wasted but how would this make travel easier???

Didn't read the whole thread, but I agree with him on contracting two teams.

Hell, I'd even go as far to say contract 6 teams.

NL and AL should remain. Just have two 6 team divisions.

Oh, and Buck's idea is terrible. Totally kills rivalry games. NYY vs. BOS only 6 games?

I am okay with that. Buck was a great coach. Got the Yankees built back to get fired and let Torre take the glory, but it was Buck who poked their head back in the playoffs. Then He went to Arizona got them to be a playoff contender. He gets fired, insert Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling and the next guy gets the credit. It would mean less travel because the teams will play teams in their division more often then those not in it. The only thing it does is make it so you might only see certain match ups like twice a year.

No, everyone would play everyone the same amount of times, 6.

Anything that gets the Rangers out of the West. Its been a huge disadvantage for a mediocre team for a long time. You know how fricking far away Seattle is from Arlington? Its like 2000 fricking miles. We might as well be playing in a division with the fricking red sox in boston.
