I absolutely guarantee you that if it wasn't for Charleston shooting he wouldn't have changed it. This has nothing to do with "oh well yeah I've matured and realize that is offensive to some people" and everything to do with "well some of my main sponsors told me if I don't change it they'll quit giving me millions to push their product". Simple as that.
