I don't think he is an AWFUL QB. I also don't know how to fully grade him as the Panthers have made some really bad decisions with their roster. With that being said.....I can understand the argument that he isn't #1 overall worthy. He has gotten better as his roster has gotten better. McMillan was a great pick.

He's had like 25 starts since he was benched. That's like 200 yds and 1.8 Tds per game and his numbers this season are below that average. Not exactly an arrival.

The sample size is large enough for him now. He is not that guy. He's shown some decent upside once every 4 games. But then he always reverte back to the mean. He is incredibly average.

He hasn't been the same since two of LSU's worst defenses exposed him in 2021 and 2022.

He had 300 yards and 2 TDs in 2021 and LSU’s defense wasn’t even bad in 2022 (4th best pass defense in the conference). He still went for 300+ in that game as well

He’s had some good games this year. Took down the Rams and played really well in that game. Seems like he’s continuing to grow, as is the team around.

He only threw for 3 TD in two years against LSU's defense and had a pick and 6 sacks. Aside from those stats, if you watch the games with your eyes, there were many more pressures, and batted and affected passes because LSU lived in his throwing lanes. His height is a problem.

Bryce Young is a 1980s QB trying to play the modern game. He fricking sucks. He can’t even eclipse 3,000 yards in a season. If the Panthers had any other starter just from the NFC South they’d be better off.

Lot bigger problem than folks want to admit. Don't think he's comically bad, but there were two plays in the first half where he just simply did not see a wide open person what would've made a first down. The kind of thing an NFL starter has to at least see and try.

None of that makes him “comically bad” and nothing LSU did “exposed” him in either season

He’s easily one of the worst Heisman winners this century. Now that he doesn’t have SEC refs bailing him out by not calling all of his intentional grounding, he’s struggling.

SEC Doctor stopped posting on his Mulkey Man account after he defended child rape.

I never said he was comically bad, birdbrain. I'm not the OP. LSU most certainly did expose his weaknesses.

Why are you knighting for a former bama QB as an LSU fan? Weird arse behavior.

Another cry baby LSU fan talking about Bama players in the NFL.

What a sad POS.

Disagreement is "knighting".

I’m not knighting. I have no problem saying dumb comments are dumb regardless of who it’s about. That’s not weird. It’s called being a rational adult, something you’ve always struggled with.

LSU didn’t expose that he was short. That was always talked about as being an issue. Nonetheless, he was still a great college football player.

You piggy-backed the OP’s first post “birdbrain.” So you want to crawfish now and tell me you don’t agree with him?

Panthers are being held back by Bryce’s inability to throw downfield in the face of pressure.

If a defense such as Seattle’s today shuts down Chuba and Rico, it’s over.

BY is inconsistent. He has a shite ton of comeback wins. So it’s confusing a bit.

There are very few teams in the league that can still win if they are one dimensional. Seattle is also one of the best teams in the league.
