LE, no poster has lost more cred in my eyes in the last three weeks than PJ. Perhaps I was blinded by him being one of the few, proud, the brave, (the listeners of the rant), but statements like the above have made it so.

Rondo is a good PG. As well as he's been playing, he still disappears in many games for long stretches. He's not on Paul's level at the moment and won't be unless Paul never recovers from injury or Rondo develops a much better jump shot.

just look at the numbers. Rondo is the 4th option playing along side 3 HOF'ers and Chris Paul is THE MAN playing with a limited cast. If Rondo was the PG of the Hornets, he wouldn't be mentioned as a top PG. Not even a whisper.
Rondo career avg- 10pts 6 ast 4 rebs 2 steals
49% FG 63% FT 24% 3pt
his best year, this past year: 13 pts, 9ast 4 rebs 2 steals
CP3 career avg: 19 pts, 10 ast, 4 rebs, 2 steals
47% FG 85% FT 35% 3PT
his best year: 22pts, 11 ast,5 rebs, 2.8 steals,
how is that a wash, at all? They arent even in the same league.
Yes, Rondo has had a great postseason or 2. That's a handful of games. Like Ive said many times on this subject, if he can do it for 82 games(match his playoff averages), then I'll be ready to mention him.
Until then, he is a PG who cant shoot the 3, cant shoot foul shots, and cant hit a mid range jumper, who thrives by getting into the lane because he is on a team with great spacing, aided by great shooters(Allen/Pierce), a great passing big man(Garnett), and a great passing slasher(Pierce). He has everything catering to him for him to be a successful player. And while he is talented, he isnt on Chris Paul's level.

but he would AT LEAST be capable of doing so.
when Garnett gets too old to play and Allen leaves (FA this year) he is going to shoulder a bigger load offensively.
he really isnt a good shooter at all, or a good foul shooter.
CP3 is 5'11 and can shoot near 50% at will. and hits 85% of his foul shots

Don't get me wrong here LES I love CP3 he deserves better and NO won't give it to him. I hope he goes to LA or somethin like that where he can enjoy a TRUE SHOT AT A title.
