Fail is what happens to the Brother Martin kids that try to make it at Rummel. Everybody knows that the guys that get kicked out of Rummel go to Brother Martin.

All I know is that all my friends and I that graduated Rummel had full-scholarships to multiple state schools in the region, including LSU (even Univ of Texas and Texas A&M for some of us, schools like Ole Miss and Miss State for others... a lot of us went to LSU, such as myself).
So Texas is something to brag about now....Jesusfrickingchrist dude.... When I graduated from BM kids were going to Brown, Princeton, and we had one from our class go to MIT...the idiots of our class were going to LSU...

dude wrestling was like the first sport in the history of the world
there is a reason football players/wrestlers puke on their first day of wrestling practice
Everybody that wrestled in high school can whoop anybody's arse in a bar fight (same with everybody that trained as a boxer) But this thread is about a varsity football game, not a varsity wrestling match.

Brother Martin = Rummel > Grace King
Possible, but that would not have caused as much of a stir!

What was that, back in the 60's? I was just in a conversation the other day at a dinner party with some fellow New Orleans Catholic High School grads (male and female), and we were sharing stories about how strict it was at school... and the Brother Martin grad was shocked at how strict it was at all the other schools besides Brother Martin. Now don't get me wrong, I know older people that were there back when Brother Martin himself was there... and he hated how strict it was so much that he dropped out... but his stories about how it was back when Brother Martin himself was there was how Rummel was when I was there.
complete bullshite....one of my friends got kicked out of BM in 97 for stealing a fricking hamburger...110% serious...he then went to....well you can figure that one out

Everybody at Rummel who got caught stealing anything was kicked out immediately... zero tolerance. Guess where they all went? That's right, Brother Martin. 110% serious.

complete and absolute bullshite...I believe another poster has already clearly explained to you that it works the other way around with the conditional acceptances Rummel offers.

You want to play dumb, then I'll go back to playing just as dumb and telling everybody how Brother Martin only exists because they take the people who can't get into Rummel. I don't know why you Brother Martin people have such an inferiority complex. You should have just done better in school and got into Rummel in the first place.

i dont see why it matters if a school accepts someone kicked out of another school.
im sure both schools have done this, it doesnt really cheapen the school IMO

i don't see how rummel having a resource programs lessens the other curriculum tracks - it just means that rummel caters to a more expanded group of students. it's not like these kids are in classes with other students

And today you are angry because you decided not to. That's your fault.

ive seen kids come out of the remedial program and go to college when had they went to any other school they may have been discouraged and not even made it out of HS
