Just wait until the Magic pussy foot around waiting for an awesome offer that wont come and everyone really low balls them and they end up stuck with him for the rest of the year knowing hes going to walk for nothing

Unreal. Lopez is a good offensive big and a good big overall, but this dude doesn't pull down enough boards to warrant that money. Stupid fricking Nets

For that deal to happen, Lopez wont be under that contract. Plus I was talking about the other teams making offers that the Magic have turned down

Yep, I'm astounded that a team would pay near max money for a big who isn't interested in rebounding.

Lopez is getting paid purely on potential
um, no
2 years ago he put up 19/9 on 50% shooting and 82% FT
1 year ago he was 20/6 (bad rebounding, but that was due to humphries more than anything) on 49% shooting and 79% FT
before his injuries last year he hadn't missed a game in 3 years
dude is a legit offensive center
he's never had a PER under 19 in his career except his rookie year, which was an obviously shitty 17.94
