He could’ve easily just signed as an UFA and they could’ve actually drafted someone with potential in that spot instead which is what they would’ve done had Lebron not lied to and threatened the Lakers. Thats the part the Simps don’t want people talking about and why they try so hard to suppress any discussion about this situation.

What’s your problem with the euro step?

It is both not as cool since it was obviously orchestrated and not a freaking travesty because it's the 55th pick.

Yeah that’s pretty much how I see it

Good for them, but there are gonna be some uncomfortable moments in the future for sure

Might wanna go check past draft boards. The 2nd round produces a lot of good players and there’s at least one rotational contributor past pick 50 in essentially every draft.

Of course it has happened, but these are anomalies

This was a notoriously bad draft and it was the 55th pick. If they thought the next Nikola Jokic was lurking there then I’m sure it would be a different conversation

Not talking about a Joker or a Draymond, or a Rodman. I’m talking about a rotational contributor, a second unit guy which they need badly. There’s one in every draft past pick 50 you can go and see for yourself. Instead they’ve blown millions in cap space and a guaranteed contract on a player who can’t play at all. So they’re left with only two way contract options to sign someone who could give them minutes only now they’ll be scraping the bottom of the barrel from that pool because of this mess.

This is patently false

Caitlyn Clark has drawn a bigger tv audience than LeBron the last few months. Let that sink in.

It’s traveling. It’s gathering, blah blah blah, I know. But it’s a hill I’ll die on. Hate it. Again, that’s another thread/discussion.

You can find a rotation player but you're stretching the impact of the guys. Since 2015 the best are Georges Niang, Monte Morris, Paul Reed, Aaron Wiggins. The 2021 undrafted free agent class is more impactful than picks in the 50s with Austin Reaves, Jose Alvarado, and Sam Hauser.

Were they talented and productive? You seem to jump back and forth between subjective and factual qualifiers whenever it suits your line of attack. Try to stick to refuting my actual statements if possible.

If the bar is 4 games then Bronny is definitely going to be more productive.
