I'd kill for that weather, esp. considering another arctic blast is coming my way this week

I'm not. The Patriots have lost so much on both sides of the ball, this was kind of easy to see coming. I enjoyed this season immensely, because they constantly overachieved, but I was not convinced this was a Super Bowl quality team.

I really wish they would get Brady an elite talent at wide receiver.

the broncos are just a much better team. These WR's are just abusing NE's DBs

The Saints should send him slow-poke Colston.

For Ninkowski.

Caveat, the base model doesn't do the train jumps. That's the SEL, fricking rip off.

There's quite a bit of WR talent in the draft, but yeah, they need to address that position for sure.

Edleman and Amendola would be plenty I was told...

Pats were winning superbowls with similar types of receivers, those that were not considered "elite" but they had a strong defense and run game. However, the NFL has changed and you do need at least 1 top notch receiver and a defense just good enough to win.

Well of course, Denver is loaded at WR and because they secured homefield, they are allowing the WRs to play aggressively. I'll tell you what though, I wouldn't want to have to pay for all that talent in the next couple of years, it will eat their cap.

To be fair, a healthy Gronk is the biggest mismatch in the league. Edleman is just fine as a number two WR, but in today's league, you need someone who can effectively run all routes in the route tree and scare a defense.
