i never argued that Brady was a system QB. Your prop-up for the Brady argument was that any dickweed could take Brees spot and the train would keep rolling and thats just moronic.

I'm a Brady fan and a Manning hater btw.

I agree with this. Brees and Brady to me are by far the best in the league. Either one is a cant miss. Brady is a proven winner and a leader and Brees has put several great seasons together and is a Super Bowl champ. NEITHER team has a chance to win it all without these guys.

I cant even rate Manning as #3 anymore. His over-ratedness and continued playoff choking has really got to me. I dont know why this doesnt get talked about more. He is a career choker.

The "he is a system quarterback" argument really gets on my nerves too. Every quarterback is in a system. What separates the great from the good to me is QB's making big throws in big situations, leadership, and seeing the field. Brees and Brady see the field better than any two in the game.

The best that Ive seen is Montana. He owned the big games, period.

Not only are Brees and Brady better quarterbacks, they get to go home to this

and this

While Manning "secretly" goes home to this...

Brees and Brady win again!

No, I just have an opinion. Right now Id take Aaron Rodgers over him. More upside at this time. Manning has had time and proven over and over that he fails in the big games. Even the one superbowl the Colts won, they won because of the defense. His numbers in that years playoffs were terrible.

Try to explain the toss to Tracy Porter...I mean what the frick was that!!??

You don't see the hypocrisy in making this statement:

quote:

Brees has put several great seasons together and is a Super Bowl champ. NEITHER team has a chance to win it all without these guys.

And then following it up with this one:

quote:

I cant even rate Manning as #3 anymore. His over-ratedness and continued playoff choking has really got to me.

?

He had a guy open in the middle of the field for 10+. Can't just sit there and stare at ol Reggie Wayne.

My point here was that the Saints wouldnt win it all without Brees and the Patriots wouldnt win it all without Brady. Both guys are vital to the respective teams. How is that hypocrisy?

All due fairness to Manning, But where would the Colts have been without him.

Manning of course is a great QB. Colts wouldnt be nearly as good without him. I just think he is overated because of his playoff failures. Thats just my opinion.

on another note if the texans finally get their shite together on defense Matt schaub has the ability to be in this discussion in a few years. He's not there yet but he can throw the rock around pretty well
